Compass Occupational Therapy

Compass Occupational Therapists work with you to address factors that are limiting your ability to reach your potential at school, work, and home. These factors could be cognitive, like attention or memory, that impact your ability to learn, focus, or organize. They could also be related to mental health issues like sadness and anxiety that alter your ability to socialize, and cope with mood changes, stressors, and expectations.

Common issues following a concussion include:

- Visual problems

- Noise sensitivity

- Cognitive/Thinking problems

- Irritability

- Anxiety

- Sadness

- Headaches

These issues can impact the way a person thinks, feels, and acts. Occupational Therapists provide a tailored strategy to promote safe recovery and help you get back to participating in your daily activities including work, school, sports, and social life. Strategies may include cognitive support, energy conservation, technology, sleep support, and mindfulness.
